Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Rajeev College of Pharmacy was established as a mechanism for quality sustenance and enhancement. The primary task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall academic and administrative performance of the institution.


Vision and Objectives

The IQAC's vision is to become the driving force for quality enhancement by fostering professional growth, promoting student-centric learning methods, and ensuring continuous improvement in pharmacy education.

The primary objectives of the IQAC are:

  • To develop mechanisms for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance.
  • To promote quality enhancement through the internalization of quality culture and the institutionalization of best practices.
  • To act as a nodal agency for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices as per PCI norms.

Key Functions of the IQAC

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks for teaching-learning, evaluation, and research activities in pharmacy.
  • Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality pharmaceutical education and faculty training.
  • Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents, and other stakeholders (e.g., pharmaceutical industry experts).
  • Documentation of the various programs/activities leading to quality improvement.
  • Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to relevant statutory bodies (like NAAC/PCI/University).
